Welcome to my website. I am an Associate Political Scientist at the RAND Corporation. Previously, I was a Research Fellow in the International Security Program at the Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs in Harvard University's Kennedy School of Government, an Empirical Studies of Conflict Post-Doctoral Scholar in the Department of Political Science at Stanford University, a Pre-Doctoral Fellow at Stanford University's Center for International Security and Cooperation, and a Peace Scholar in the United States Institute of Peace's Jennings Randolph Peace Scholarship Dissertation Program. I received my Ph.D. in Political Science from Northwestern University. My research interests include counterinsurgency, counterterrorism, military effectiveness, political economy, and conflict resolution.
