Welcome to my website. I am a Research Fellow at Harvard University's Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs. I was previously a Pre-Doctoral Fellow at Stanford University's Center for International Security and Cooperation and a Peace Scholar in the United States Institute of Peace's Jennings Randolph Peace Scholarship Dissertation Program. I received my Ph.D. from Northwestern University in 2009. My research interests include insurgency and counterinsurgency, military strategy and effectiveness, political economy, and conflict resolution.
